Masterpiece Quality 3.75″ Diorama Walls

spacewalls

For over two decades now, many collectors have found themselves frustrated by a lack of playsets, dioramas, and basic environments to display their 3.75″ figures with.

But those days are coming to a close thanks to Galactic Trading Post, who is now offering some fantastic high quality plastic walls to satiate this need.  To order these directly, click here.

If you’re on the fence about these, I can say based on the 6″ scale walls, their product is amazing.  You can see a few pics of those in our forums.

I wonder why some were so expensive, then i realised they do 1:12!

Do the wall panel lights actually illuminate? They’re listed as LED walls…..that would be amazing….

    • Rykrof_Enloe

They have that feature coming to them I believe with LED lights installed… but for now, you can add those yourself as the “lights” are thin enough to be able to look that way… here’s some example pics. http://galactictradingpost.com/sp.html

These are awesome…but just went to buy the 1:12 9-pack and the shipping on them was $46. This is completely unjustified for ANY reason. Too bad.

  • TeeKay1138

POed a couple sets last week-end. Hoping for more OT and PT based similar backdrops in the near future.

    • Rykrof_Enloe

Agreed… while these “death star” type walls are top of my list, I’m very interested in other environments.

      • Darth Janus

Will you be using any of these walls or environments in your photo novel?

        • Rykrof_Enloe

          Yep, that’s the plan!

          • Darth Janus

Cool. Looking forward too it. 🙂

  • General Hux

I might buy these after I recover from my splurge on Rogue Friday…

    • Darth Janus

They’ll fit in really well with the new figures since the DS is going to be prominently featured in RO.

  • You guys sure love your walls around here.

    • Rykrof_Enloe

These things are pretty awesome. Hasbro has left a gaping hole in terms of environments for figures to be displayed with now for about 20 years. So when something like this comes along, we’re more than happy to help get the word out.

      • Darth Janus

That Death Star set you guys posted is beautiful. I remember when those two little DS playsets came out in the early POTF2 line. It seemed like such a good idea to sell small pieces of the DS that could be combined in a modular fashion. Unfortunately they only made the two. I still like them, actually.

Hope they offer some corridor walls for the Rebel cruiser too

    • Rykrof_Enloe

Hoping that too. They have such amazing quality and I feel the prices are very fair.

Visit Raylen’s website for amazing rebel ship walls and doors –

He also sells Death Star walls at a slightly cheaper rate than these.

      • Rykrof_Enloe

Yep, I’m also a big fan of Raylen’s stuff. I love it.

        • LaurenceQuint

Oh, I didn’t know that about the walls. Oops.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m delighted that more and more people are getting into this game and selling items like this.

I didn’t mean to bag on the GTP people at all.

I hope, as 3D printing continues to evolve and become more common, that consumers will have more and more options of more and more amazing products to buy!

I think this is just the beginning!

          • Rykrof_Enloe

Agreed… however, neither Raylen’s or GTP’s stuff is 3D printed… which I think makes them look better since you don’t have any 3D print lines on these. I do think 3D printing works really well on some things though. And yes, just the beginning, I think… Hasbro has really missed the boat.

Do you know of anyone making stuff like this that might do a rectangular dish for either the BMF or vintage Falcon?

          • Rykrof_Enloe

I did see something a while back about the TFA dish through the 3D printing at Shapeways…

      • Dave

They are also interlocking and have a connecting floor base. That’s my one pet peeve about the GTP panels is they didn’t design them with any kind of connectors and you have to use tacky binder clips to hold them in place. That’s a win except for being unpainted. I’d pay extra if they offered a painted option.
