S.H.Figuarts Anakin Skywalker (AOTC) and Chewbacca

The Fwoosh has posted magazine scans depicting a closer look at the upcoming S.H.Figuarts Anakin Skywalker from Episode II and Chewbacca from A New Hope (note the alternate mouth/head). Head on over to check out these gorgeous looking figures.

Too bad it’s only 5mm taller than Captain Phasma (who was about 10mm too short herself). That makes Chewbacca roughly 25mm too short.

On the plus side, I FOUND A WHOLE WAVE OF 3 3/4″ BLACK SERIES FIGURES TODAY.

Got 2 ERGs, 1 Lando, 2 Ahsokas, 2 Death Troopers, and 2 Jyns.

AND 6″ 3PO and Scarif Trooper.

  That’s the problem with all Figuarts Star Wars figures: the tall characters are always too short. Figuarts doesn’t seem to really care about proper scale. I suppose this much too short Chewie will look awkward with the other figures as you expect him to be a certain height.
