Toyguide Update: Rogue One Jedha Revolt Multipack

The Yakface Toyguide updates continue today with our next entry in the Rogue One 3.75″ basic figure assortment with Jedha Revolt multipack.

PROS: A marked improvement over the “Home Entertainment” set released for The Force Awakens, this set features 3 new figures with excellent sculpting and paint. Edrio and Saw are brand new for this set and are the most detailed of the 4 figures. Saw Gerrera is the highlight though featuring the most complex sculpt and a great likeness to Forest Whitaker. There are no superfluous pack-in weapons to clutter the set.

CONS: The benefits far outweigh the negatives for this set as repacking Jyn seems like an overcompensation to correct the “Where’s Rey” issues from 2015. It’s also unfortunate that this is the only to get Saw Gerrera and Edrio Two Tubes, but obviously better than not getting them at all.

Head to the toyguide for our detailed image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this set is worth adding to your collection.

Very cool, also about time. Now if we can get another 4 pack from The Force Awakens, example Grummgar,Bazine Netal,Cookie, and a storm trooper.Still hoping for a Bobbajo and Crusher Rodown to get made too. There are several of the patrons from Maz’s castle that need
    a action too.

  • LaurenceQuint

“Where’s Rey” compensation? Ridiculous. They’ve been re-releasing figures in multipacks for decades. How about they’re trying to cut costs by releasing a mixture of new and old figures? And, you know, she is the lead in the film.

Received mine today…nice packing Hasbro. The shipping box top had a half inch gap, so the tape used to seal it covering the gap was stuck to the 4 pack.

    • Bombadgungan

That sucks. Hopefully it is an opener and not something you were wanting to keep mint in box. I once had Hasbro ship a figure that had been deliberately taped down to the bottom of the box.

I find this 4 pack in France, and I am divided on this item. Pros : clearly saw guerrera, it ‘s a great action figure, nice edrio cons : a jyn repaint and a very disappointed hover tank pilot although I am a big fan of the troopers
I do a review in french in my youtube channel :

    • LaurenceQuint

      Tres bon!

  • GermanBoba

Don King got his first action figure! 😉

  • RumSleg

Minor quibble, but why can’t Hasbro get their own app updated to recognize the QR codes they pack in with their figures?

Their StudioFX app is mildly diverting, but it goes from interesting to frustrating very quickly when I try to unlock new content by scanning the QR codes from this set and from Wave 3 and the codes aren’t recognized. The codes had to have been printed at least weeks ago when the packaging was put together. They can’t manage a simple app update that they had to have known was coming months in advance?

    • 80sRobot

The app was updated today — and it still won’t recognize the QR code for this set.

      • RumSleg

Yup. I’ll have to check the Wave 3 QR code I’ve got that wasn’t recognized, but I expect it will be the same.

UPDATE: Found at Meijer this afternoon in Northern Illinois!!! Awesome set!

    • Any 3.75 Krennics at Meijer?

      • General Hux

Nope, they literally had nothing but that pack. Lol

  • mic windu

Great set, the only con I would add is that these guys could really do with elbow (and knee) articulation. Come Hasbro, we have been patient enough bring it back.

  • Rykrof_Enloe

Got mine in the mail. I like this set a lot for 5POA… and it looks like all of them have soft torsos, which means I’m in for several sets (customizing!).

    • Really?! thats is just the best news.

      • Rykrof_Enloe

Totally…. and makes 5POA much more acceptable.

    • Steve Stuber

If you’re in for more sets, through one in for me to save on shipping. 😉

    • General Hux

Just found it at Meijer, great set!

  • Bombadgungan

I think most will agree that Saw and Edrio are the highlights of this set. And they look fantastic! I do like the inclusion of the tank gunner here as well. This is that figure’s first/only release in 3.75″ so far, right? I am also disappointed that they included a repack of Jyn here. Like most, an unnecessary duplicate for me as well. I would have prefered another all-new figure even if it meant raising the price. Otherwise, another troop-building imperial would have been fine. A “dirty streets of Jedha” repainted Stormtrooper perhaps? Regardless, I’m really looking forward to this set.

    • Matthew Ruch

Just got mine! It’s a fantastic set, you won’t be disappointed!

      • Bombadgungan

Looks like I’ll have to exercise my patience until early April. I’m guessing (hoping) these sets will hit alongside the home video release.

    • 80sRobot

“…this is the only way to get Saw Gerrera and Edrio Two Tubes…”

I think this is also the only way to get the Hover Tank Driver in 3.75″. So 3 out of 4 of these figures are exclusive to this set.

  • chad

About the cons about this set on the main page. I would not have minded if Jyn was like Ray back in the TFA line. Man you couldn’t find at all. Aside from her I do like the other figures in this set. Really looking forward to it.

  • General Hux

I wish they would’ve included Ediro’s egg-mate Benthic instead of Jyn or one of Saw’s other extremists.

    Nice photography as always, Jay.

    • DustinW

Black Scout helmet guy! Though I would prefer SA.

      • Bombadgungan

Oh absolutely! I was immediately drawn to that extremist when I first glimpsed him (her?) on screen. I was surprised to find that character was not depicted and explored further in the Visual Guide.

    • Bombadgungan

“Egg Mates”, sounds like an idea for a new line of zero-poa rubber mini figures, a.k.a. Fighter Pods. Just in time for Easter! 😉

      • General Hux

Don’t give Hasbro any ideas!! But I actually liked the Fighter Pods line, I have about 70 of them, Lol!
