  • Congratulations to the winner! πŸ™‚

  • A winner has been chosen.

  • General Hux

Missed the contest, but my pick would be Jaxxon, obviously. πŸ˜‰

  • Nearsighted Scrappile

  • Jim Hayes

    Boba Fett

  • Jim Decke

    Death Star Droid

  • Oscar V

I’d have to say Boba Fett since it was originally a mail away figure and is so expensive to get nowadays. It would be killer on the vintage style card back.

  • Andrew Christensen

Imperial Gunner with a MSE-6 series repair droid

  • Bespin Han Solo FTW

  • Keith Maurer

    Boba Fett

  • Brian Ring

I think Bossk would be a great figure to rerelease on a vintage card, not only because of the quality of the figure but also the great photo on the original cardback.

  • Andy Boswell

    Death Star Droid!!!!!

  • Larry Duane

    Yak Face all the way.

  • Vadersaber

    Rebel fleet trooper or Hanmerhead.

  • MicroCapo

A “small droid” pack – including the mouse droid, Gonk Droid, and maybe even the medical droid assistant.

  • Steven Greaves

Boba Fett was the mail-away figure with 4 proofs of purchase, making him an exclusive in a sense. I believe it should be him!

  • John Donaldson

Sandtroooper or TIE Fighter Pilot!! Both appear in ANH and deserve some love. There should be more Dark Side characters in the 40th anniversary line.

  • Oliver

    Greedo, for sure!

  • I want a Grand Moff Tarkin to hover above the collection.

… or a Gonk at the base

  • Radiator Boss

I would like to see a well done Emperor Palpatine on a vintage card. I mean he was the man behind the curtain in charge of the empires destruction all across the galaxy.

  • Jeremy Durrwachter

I would like to see Biggs Darklighter. As a kid I remember seeing photos of him and Luke talking but you never saw the footage in the movie. The character always intrigued me. He deserves to made into an action figure in his regular outfit the one seen on Tatooine.

  • Keith Storm

Just started collecting the 6″ recently, so would love to get my hands on Boba Fett.

  • CT-7567

    Repack? Boba Fett. New? Walrusman.

  • phruby

Was has Hasbro never released a new Yak Face? We only got one since 1995.

  • Mark

    Endor Rebel Commando

  • Doctorossi

    It has to be Gonk.

    Thanks for the contest!

  • Rob Redahl

  • Steve Stuber

Han Solo in Carbonite (just to get that block out there again). I’m say I’m surprised Fett wasn’t on a vintage card, too.

  • Brian B.

    Rebel Fleet Trooper? Please?

  • Jango Fettuccine

Choosing only one more is tough. I’d have to say Boba Fett

  • beagan

    Hammerhead on vintage cardback!!

  • RustyTinCan

More love for the Non humans in the black series! I wanna see Ackbar!

  • Kitster2187

I would really like to see a new yoda on the card.

  • Joel Groff

    Definitely Greedo!

  • darthtrajk 666

    Han Solo Hoth Gear

  • David Anthony

    Boba Fett!

  • Dustin Askim

    Wedge Antilles for sure!

  • jivepicnic

    Admiral Ackbar is my favorite

  • Jon Bruce

Hands down Galen Marek. He’s one of my favorite characters and was sad when his story became Legends. Id pick that figure up in a heartbeat.

  • If it were a repack of figures Hasbro has already released from A New Hope, it would have to be Greedo. If it were all-new, definitely Hammerhead.

  • aussie.com

My vote goes to Blue Snaggletooth. I’d love to finally see this figure on an “official” card back.

  • Bryan Maher

I’d roll with Boba Fett on the 1978 card. It’s an easy play and a lot of people missed him the first time around.

  • Bazzoka

    Grand Almiral TARKIN!!!!

  • Bazzoka

Who else but the one and only….Grand Almiral Tarkin!!!

  • Timothy Lindstrom

I would say Wedge Antilles, he was always one of my favorites.

  • S G

  • Will van westbroek

  • clubobiwan

    Blue snaggletooth

  • Brady Weiss

    Walrus Man / Ponda Baba

  • Michael Schreiner

  • Starwars Steve

Does it have to be a figure? I would like to see a 6 inch scale of the Patrol Dewback this would be so awesome to have in a vintage style box.

  • Avsjersey

    Boba Fett

  • Steven Wells

    Carrie’s daughter the rebel tech

  • hammyhamster

Ben Skywalker ballot-stuffers! You know that there’s only one choice for this submission.

Heed my call and make it so!

  • Caleb Olson

Hammerhead! It would be such an amazing 6″ vintage cardback figure. I would love to see it.

  • Kris Nimori

I would say the one more figure would be Power Droid. There are not too many Power Droid figures out there and seeing it revamped 6″ style would be nice.

  • Brian Hart

Walrus Man – Preferably blue but red is fine too.

  • El_tito

Boba Fett being such an iconic figure. With that gi vintage look would be amazing.

  • Darth Curmudgeon

For a new figure Hammerhead would be awesome. If not, a repack of Boba Fett seems like a no brainer.

  • Eric Danner

I was going to say Walrus Man. Then I thought it would be weird without Dr. Evazan. So instead I am going to come way out from left field and go with Garindan, man. Garindan. Because he’s really weird. And I like Aliens. I feel pretty strongly that alien characters have been under represented in the Black Series six inch line. They keep giving us troopers upon troopers. I want more damn aliens! And while I am in a ranting mood, why don’t we get a build a figure piece with the Black series? They cost the same as Marvel Legends. And I refuse to accept the fact that the larger amount of new tooling for black series figures somehow precludes the fans from a build a figure piece. That just seems idiotic to me. Especially since Marvel Legends figures are generally larger as well. You know what? This line of thought is annoying me so I am going to stop now..

  • Landan

Well since it’s the 40th for ANH so I’d say definitely the death star droid with a mouse droid.

  • csawknewyork

  • DarthCanabis

Boba Fett. A ROTJ version would be great but I’d settle for the same figure on the vintage card.

  • Jawa_Fetish

I would like a 6 inch Vintage Boba. I missed him the first time around. One more thing –
does my name have to be R5-D4 to win?

  • Matthew

Greedo would fit well in the series.

  • Ramon

    For sure Greedo!!!

  • nyknight313

Since we are talking about the 40th Anniversary of the original Star Wars Movie aka Episode IV: A New Hope. The Death Star Droid (3B6-RA-7) would be my pick for one last figure in the vintage-style. You could do a great diorama with the Death Star Droid, C-3PO, R2-D2, R5-D4 and the Jawas. Besides, many people out there love Imperial Droids. Would go great with Darth Vader, Death Squad Commander and Stormtrooper. I wanted to thank you dor letting me post my comments on the site.

  • 80sRobot

Hey everyone, the AT-ACT has dropped down to $150 at Hasbrotoyshop:

And if you sign up for their emails, I think you can get a 20% knocked off so then it’s $120. Shipping may be free as well.

  • RoguePilot1

I’m gonna go way outside the box here and go with Luke’s best friend…BIGGS!!!

  • souldeserter

Walrusman (Ponda Baba). I love the figure and the backing card art. Retro outfit or screen accurate, it wouldn’t matter.

  • Anoblivion25

Would love to see Boba Fett

  • Todd Kieswetter

Boba fett would get my vote

  • JediRebel71

    Go in order. Greedo next:)

  • chad

Well, if Hasbro continues with the trend seeing we got the X-wing Luke and the R5 I will go with the Deathstar Droid. That was one of my favorite figures back in the day or the Power droid.

  • wally2974

My first instinct would be Greedo, re-released on the 40th vintage style card, especially since the tooling is already done for the figure…On the other hand, a GONK droid to go with all the other Black Series droids that have been released, so far

  • Kyle

Been a fan of the site and recently joined the forums here to discuss. Love all the collector content! Thanks!

If I could pick just one (tough!), I’d have to go with Grand Moff Tarkin

  • Darth_Raww

Snaggletooth (red outfit); I always liked his card back as I could never figure out where it was supposed to be. 2nd choice would be Boba Fett, and 3rd would be Yakface (the only vintage figure i never had).

  • Steve D. Bates

Would love to see the non-movie astromech made as a regular series figure, for those of us that can’t make cons–R2 KT (Katie).

  • So many choices! I would love to see Walrus Man!

  • bmales01

    Lars Homestead GNK Droid EG-6

  • Jeff C

The Emperor, He started the whole mess!!

  • jedicrippler

I’m going to go with Han Solo in Carbonite.

  • Jason

Hammerhead! That as one of my fav. figures and I never had one!

  • Dan Patrick

    Kitik keed’kak

  • James Atwell

  • SID

Be really cool to have a BLUE SNAGGLETOOTH in that scale.
but since that would never happen. I would also love to see HAMMERHEAD, the detail would be amazing in the larger scale.

  • Enrico Leano

Greedo. Then if they made more it would be followed by Hammerhead, Walrus Man and Red Snaggletooth in no particular order. It would be wise if Habro released them as a special ‘Cantina Set’ to include a limited edition ‘Blue Snaggletooth’

  • John Titus

I’d love to see a Yoda on the large card.

  • Temple C. Frazier

  • Darthoutwithyoursaberout

Plus it would be right scaled for 3.75!! πŸ™‚

  • Nick Bondra

Greedo! Although, it’d be nice if they re-sculpted his head.

  • Darthoutwithyoursaberout

    Krayt dragon!!

  • Joesph Walker

    Boba Fett

  • Marvin

I would have to agree with other people and say Boba Fett. It would be awesome to have him on that state and would definitely be a good choice to release in the vintage card style.

Boba fett is the reason i got into Star Wars when i was a kid and has been a staple in collection libraries from the beginning up to today. You can’t have a complete vintage Star Wars 40th without him.

  • Dylan DeFriese

    Bib Fortuna!

  • Sith Lord Jacen

  • Artie Moyano

if there were to be another card of the 40th Anniversary set , It would make sense to release Boba Fett on a vintage card. Boba Fett has proven time and time again to be a big seller. This would be a very sought after collectable.

  • Mike Linder

    Jar Jar Binks

  • Dirk

  • Caleb

    BoShek for days.

    Soft goods sideburns

  • Mike

    Owen & Beru Lars

  • Noel Henneman

I would *want* a power droid most, and then Hammerhead. But I would guess the most likely to be Greedo, since they already have the molds for it…

  • Mike

  • Jake Nickerson

    Grand Moff Tarkin

  • Justin Martin

  • Ben Baril

    Red/Blue Snaggletooth!

  • John Scoleri

I’d love to have a “space” cardback Boba Fett in this vintage style.

  • DonFerguson

It’s been said, but Boba Fett is still the correct answer.

  • Lance

Repack Boba Fett on a 6 inch 40th anniversary card.

  • heybert17

As much as I hate them, an exclusive 2-pack of Red and Blue Snaggletooth. Completely retooled but replicating the taller/shorter aspect of the original releases.

  • magnum676

    Feltipern Trevagg the Gotal

  • Jonathan Steinbiser

Give me Greedo, all day long!!!

  • King Bowser

Yakface. He was my favorite figure in the POTF line and I’d love an update. One loose and one carded!

  • MyenShi

  • Andrew R

    Nien Nunb!

  • Obi Won Bonde

I would have to go with Greedo

  • JediJake

    Def Yakface.

  • Amanda R

    Teebo the Ewok

  • Jose-Luis Ramos

Boba Fett retool with Kenner colors for an exclusive. Or a repack.

  • Luca Brasi

    Grand Moff Tarkin

  • Darth Maleval

If they keep going in order then the Cantina denizens would be next…but I would really like to see a Death Star Droid!

  • Patrick Shawn Bennett

I would love it to be Hammerhead. He was one of my favorite figures from the ’70s. I sent him on many missions flying his own X-wing around the yard. He survived a few crashes in the ditch and several attempts to be launched into the stratosphere with a penny rocket duct taped to his back.

  • Peter Buck

    Hands down..Boba Fett!!

  • Jay Quinn

  • Darth Pesci Cannolli

    Death Star Droid, RA-7

  • Michael Schnuth

    a GNK power droid.

  • rusty_t

Figrin D’an! Since all the band members look the same you could buy multiples and create the entire band. I think there are plenty of Mos Eisley characters that you could choose from for the 6″ line.

  • Tony

    Rancor keeper!

  • Ryan

  • Hookembad

    Admiral Ackbar for sure!

  • Timothy Pokrywczynski

Has to be Boba Fett. …rocket firing would be incredible but I think a re release is sorely needed to combat knock offs and aftermarket prices for this figure

  • Steve Taylor

I would love to have seen snaggletooth or Walrus man.

  • James Rahmer

Has to be a Rocket Firing Boba Fett

  • Brad Gray

It would be difficult to pick just one out of any SW character so just sticking with the overall theme of the line I’ll pick one from ANH. Grand Moff Tarkin without a doubt. He was such a important character and because ANH was his only film appearance, until Rogue One of course. Like with the “Sand People” figure which we will again see in the standard black and red Black Series packaging it would’ve been perfect to have them release Tarkin the same way. Definitely in substitution of the “Death Squad Commander” figure. Grateful that we are finally getting a Tarkin 6in regardless though!

  • Firestick User

Are you giving it away because the bubble is crushed? I’ve seen plenty of those.

  • David Lippman

  • Danny

    How about Yak Face?!?!?

  • snowspeederpilot1

  • ratheramused

Obviously Boba Fett would be iconic, but I would love to see something anachronistic like Savage Opress.

  • Calbyn Sevilla

Boba Fett. Would look amazing on card and a good opportunity for newer collectors to him.

  • Scott Hume

    Jabba’s palace Lando!

  • Andiamo

    Blue Snaggletooth would be amazing!

  • Bounty Hunter

Boba Fett would be amazing on that retro cardback-

  • Mateo Galvez

    Two Words only….BOBA FETT!!!!

  • Troy Duncan

    Gonk (Power Droid)

  • Adrian

Honestly even though disney is no longer licensing it and we already have a leia figure… slave leia is iconic.

  • Daniel

An episode 3 variant of either Anakin or Obiwan would be neat.

  • Chris Fowler

Well since its a l8be meant to reflect the 40th Anniversary of A New Hope and the figures released with it (NOT SPECIAL EDITIOBS- so no Fett cool as that would be)….IF they are to release more (which IS a rumor right now. Hasbro has an ANNOUNCEMENT- supposedly regarding the 40th Line- on May 25, then I have quite a few…but if its ONE and ONLY one, it HAS to be Greedo!
The Rebel Fleet Trooper wasnt released then with the line of wave 1 (First Twelve) was he??????
    So yes…..there is my choice:

  • Michael Piro

#Count Dooku!!! He’s the only live action movie #SithLord without a #VintageStyleCardBack and it would be a nice tribute for the character as well as #ChristopherLee who passed https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/7ed17438abb9ba62a77162f20a5587740cb774b82096dec209b15384aafc36ce.jpg away roughly two years ago.

  • Stefan Lawrence

  • Moseisleynative

Dr. Cornelius Evazan because he has the death sentence on 12 systems.

  • John Vasquez

I say a Sandtrooper would be cool, I know a Stormtrooper was released but a Sandtrooper looks way better!

  • Daniel Khurgin

    Mouse droid, of course!

  • Joe Barrett

Greedo for sure! With better eyes!

  • Jason paz

    Emperor palpatine

  • Michelle Wittlich

If I have to stay within the confines of SW:ANH, then I choose Greedo. If I have free reign, then Boba Fett is my pick πŸ™‚

  • Jason Wood

    Boba fett

  • Andrew Sims

    Grand Moff Tarkin!

  • Jeremy Curneal

General Ulric Tagge, he was right about the Rebel threat, if only Grand Moff Tarkin would have listened to him.

  • Alexander Scott Meyers

  • bearshirt

A rebel soldier would be cool. Since we have stormtrooper and the deathstar troops

  • Zachary Hering

I’d love to see pong krell if eu is allowed. If not I’d like ghost anakin

  • Dan Mccarthy

    Ponda Baba

  • Julio Arellano

    Bib Fortuna

    A power gonk droid

  • Tyler McIntyre

  • gargan123 (Kerry Spencer)

    Momaw Nadon

  • Jerry Fishel

    A better emperor

  • Joseph Tate

  • JawaKing

    Hammerhead Momaw Nadon!!!!

  • Robert Colvin

For a 40th anniversary character of ANH, Greedo!

  • Brian M Walker

    Boba Fett for sure!

  • Jay Nelson

I’d love to see a 6″ detailed power droid. Gonk!

  • Gfxgod

I’m torn between power droid and rebel trooper ( army build corpses), I’ll go with rebel trooper, final answer

  • Andrew Pelleschi

    Admiral Ackbar!

  • Benjamin Yoon

human jabba from the deleted scene

  • Sam Levy

Well it has to be Bobba Fett! Even though we have plenty of fetts over the years, this packaging would be awesome with him inside

  • Brent6118

    Boba Fett of course.

  • tatertatupu

  • Gonkdroid for sure

  • Michael Hockenson Jr

I’d have to go with The Emperor

  • John Pan

Greedo of course! A classic A New Hope character that set the tone of Han Solo’s whole attitude!

  • Lisa La Barbera

  • aidan williams

Darth maul, just because I need him so badly!

    • Zachary Hering

Buy the bootleg. It’s actually really great.

  • Blue Snaggletooth! πŸ™‚

  • LesterF

    Rocket-Firing Boba Fett : )

  • Jason W

    Moff Tarkin

  • George R

I would actually love a gold leader,I just love the rebels

  • Surge Opress

    Wilhuff Tarkin

  • Joseph Lee

  • UltraSevenTexas

    The Emperor

  • Branflakes

The sandtrooper would have been a cool repack

  • Alex Nunez

  • dmauck

It would have to be Boba Fett and his jet pack would actually shoot rockets. And a fun twist would be to make it an actual mail away again!

  • Jake Jerele

Blue Snaggletooth!!! But he would be a Sears exclusive! πŸ˜‰

  • Marco G

    kyle katarn

  • Gordon Elliott
