Target had one my Fav Trooper Design’s, the Riot Control Trooper with Baton and Shield. Kept waiting for that set to drop on Clearance for a second one, but my Store sold-out before they dropped the prices on them. Was not meant to be. I’ll have to see what TRU’s Exclusive will be to see where i’m at Midnight, i like this Trooper, but TRU is supposedly getting a 6in 2-Pack of some kind. And last year my Target did not even open at Midnight for it, hopefully they don’t again this year. Then i’ll just be there when they open the next day for this Guy.

Eh. Just can’t get excited for this figure. Seems like a lazy design.

    • CT-7567

I think it’s ok. I’m more excited for the 3.75″ TBS version. Also, this figure should have been in the first wave of basic figures instead of the regular Stormtrooper again.

    <3 retooled helmet

  • Fiery Little One

I’m hoping TRU has this guy like they did the AT-ACT driver for Canadians.

    • BB-Mate

True that! Do you know where we will be able to find the Snoke on throne in Canada?

      • Fiery Little One

Not off hand, but I think I read somewhere that it might be EB Games.

  • EPC-421

Seems like the arms aren’t new parts, that’s a shame.

I think all troopers at least should have elbows like the OT stormtrooper and scout trooper. The TFA stormie is hurt by its poor articulation at the elbows.

Explain the method? I’d give that a shot.

          • EPC-421

Very easy just use a knife sharp enough to cut the black covering the elbow joint.
For more info check out FlyGuys tutorial on doing it.

          • Very nice set of tips from flyguy! If you have access to a dremel tool and want a cleaner job, you can also remove the forearm and use a sanding but to grind down the groove. And while youre at it you can paint the exposed white plastic before popping the arm back in.

Wow, awesome, what a stupid-simple fix. looks like I know what I’ll be doing this week end 😉

his history of 6′ vids are really cool also.

          • Chris Fowler

I did this on mine a while back…..also did it on the Flame Trooper. Helps a ton

          • Brian Beck

No. I haven’t really ‘played’ with these guys that much, but after reading this post, it does explain why I felt something was “off” when trying to pose them.

          • Geez…you mean you cant achieve this pose without heavily modifying the elbows? Boo-urns

          • CT-7567

I can get mine to hold his gun with two hands. I actually really like that figure. I wasn’t crazy about TFA, but I like the troopers and ships. Most FO stuff is cool looking, imo.

          • Paulskywalker

Alright sarcy, I was just commenting on the limits of the joints. The figure can hold the gun with both hands, it just looks awkward and limited.

      • EPC-421

Agreed, unfortunately Hasbro could only implement double-hinged elbows if they’re covered up by something.
