While reviewing some of the new images in Rebelscum’s SDCC coverage, I noticed what looks like a possible painted “flesh wound” on one of the SDCC samples for Rey. As you can see above, the one on the left (shown today at the Hasbro Breakfast) has a bloody slice/scratch on the right arm, but the figure on the right from the show floor doesn’t – yet there looks to be a sculpted “deformity” sans blood. What do you think – battle-damage or a simple errant paint job? A variant between the SDCC release and the retail version?
A new 6″ Black Series Rey (Resistance) was revealed at today Hasbro Breakfast. The image above comes from Steve Evans, Design Director at Hasbro via Instagram. He also states that starting in Spring 2018, they’ll be implementing a new paint technique.
UPDATE: here are a couple nice shots of TLJ and TFA Rey courtesy of The Wookiee Gunner
Rebelscum captured a great shot of this wet-haired 6″ Black Series Luke Skywalker that supports our rumor from 2015 regarding a possible Trash Compactor scene with that particular Luke. Stay tuned throughout the weekend to see how/if this pans out.
Rebelscum has posted a gorgeous first look at Hasbro’s booth that is sure to “trigger” many a collector with their amazing 1/12 scale dioramas (not for sale). Be sure to check out all the images for some potential hidden surprises that have yet to be revealed.

There is an image circulating via social media of the rumored 6″ Black Series Rey (Jedi Training) and Luke Skywalker (Jedi Master) Exclusive 2 pack planned for SDCC. Click the image above for a closer look.
Upon revisiting our Target DPCI list we posted on July 2, one of the listings (087-06-8397) is now updated with a new coded description: “E8 BL Tango Black”. Since it is pretty specific and is reported as having a 10/1 release date and $19.99 price point, we suspect this may be an exclusive figure for The Last Jedi.
We shall see…. we shall see.*
*Not a hint
As we continue to gather details for Force Friday II in September, we’ve managed to assemble a preliminary “rumor” list of two waves of Black Series figures slated for release for the event. Wave 1 has been nailed down for a while but Wave 2 has some “newness” to it.
For a few details regarding the basic (non-Black Series) figure line, be sure to check out tonight’s episode of First Order Transmissions as I’ll be breaking down the first 3 waves of figures.
