Our friend Corey from First Order Transmissions has provided us some on-site images from the floor of Star Wars Celebration. You can check them out on our Facebook page.

Yakface and Flyguy are back after the holidays and the release of Rogue One to ring in the new year with the latest in Star Wars collecting and news – including the 40th Anniversary of A New Hope. New, unannounced items have been hitting retail as well as huge clearances. This and much more on Episode 108 of The Realm Recap.
The unofficial “Go Rogue: A Star Wars Collecting Checklist” is now available for download. As additional information comes to light, we will amend the checklist and post a notice when a new update/download is available.
UPDATE: The third and final version (3.0) of the checklist is now available for download. Thank you to everyone who sent in store reports, links to eBay auctions and tagged us via social media as you, the fans, were instrumental in the creation of this list. Good luck to everyone heading out tonight!
Yakface and Flyguy are back again this week to discuss the latest leaks and reveals for Go Rogue Friday on September 30. Grab a warm cup of Jawa Juice and get the scoop on news from Hasbro, Hot Toys, Hot Wheels, Gentle Giant, Funko and more on Episode #104 of The Realm Recap!
We are “going rogue” and producing an independent downloadable PDF checklist (similar to last year) to guide collectors through the toy aisles on September 30 and beyond. As of now, we are including most products announced (and unannounced) for Hasbro, LEGO, Funko, Jakks Pacific, Hot Wheels, and Disney Store.
And as last year, not all items will be available on Rogue/Force Friday, but in lieu of any of those brands providing anything “official”, we felt it would be in collector’s best interest to know what to expect/budget.

- and more!
While browsing a few new product listings at Entertainment Earth, I came across this item in one of the Hot Wheels Starship assortment cases:
2x Starship Raven Deluxe vs. X-Wing
Is this the name of a Rogue One specific vehicle? It looks like it based on a quick Google search of “Rogue One” and “Raven Deluxe”.
Yahoo Movies has posted the official reveal of Hot Wheels SDCC exclusive set which reimagines the iconic trench run from Star Wars: A New Hope. The set includes a X-wing styled car, two TIE Fighter styled cars and Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter car all presented in an illuminated cardboard case complete with sound effects.
Thanks to @MarcusErrico form Yahoo Entertainment for the heads up.
JediNews has posted official details for the Star Wars Celebration Exclusive Prototype Boba Fett character car.
To commemorate the early conception of one of cinema’s most popular characters, Hot Wheels has created a new look for the Boba Fett Character Car. Complete with an all-white colour palette, twin turbo engines, a rear jet pack and several of the bounty hunter’s weapons extending from the hood, this exclusive Character Car is a must-have for Hot Wheels and Star Wars collectors alike.
Mattel has teased a mystery exclusive Star Wars Hot Wheels item for SDCC. According to SDCCblog, it will be revealed by Lucasfilm and Mattel in the next few weeks and cost $50.00. This item will only be available for purchase at SDCC with a limited amount reserved for sale after the con through HotWheelsCollectors.com
Despite the majority of retail outlets being devoid of new products on shelves, there are still a few surprises as online retailers are receiving a “new” 6″ version of Rey – which may be just different enough to make you mad/sad. Funko continue to promote like no other brand as teases for the next Smuggler’s Bounty box have sparked some discussion of potential for new characters. The biggest (and most spendy) news of last week was the announcement of an ultra-high end tier of prop replicas from Propshop – the manufacturer responsible for the very same screen used props in The Force Awakens. And finally, we close out Episode #99 with a few new acquisitions to tide us over until the next “must-have” item comes along.
Mattel’s official Hot Wheels site updated recently announcing new summer 2016 character car assortments. These wave include several new individual cars as well as new two packs. Click on over to check out the Shocktrooper, Sidon Ithano, Jango Fett and more.
Thanks to Corey from First Order Transmissions for the alert.
