Read anything good on the internet lately? Me neither. So let’s change that (yes, I’m overselling it). After 20+ years of reporting toy news for Hasbro via the info generously doled out through press releases and agencies, it appears that Yakface.com has been dropped from the list of those receiving direct communication and promotional materials from Hasbro. If you’d like a preview of some of the products available on Force Friday II, look no farther that the Toys”R”Us mobile website. Using my iPhone and the Google Chrome app, a simple search for “the last Jedi” brings up about 40 different products from action figures to role play items from Hasbro, Funko and LEGO. Why reporting monumental failure of this magnitude is frowned up is unbelievable. If anything, it points out systemic problems in procedures and practices of manufactures and retailers. It is not our fault leaks like this happen and we will continue to report them.

UPDATE: It looks like the power that be have addressed the problem with Toys”R”Us’ site.
