I was invited to attend Denny’s exclusive marketing campaign reveal for Solo: A Star Wars Story at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. and while I couldn’t attend in person (due to the holiday weekend), we do have someone covering the event for us. Since finding the code name “Nemesis” for a character in Solo: A Star Wars Story a few months back, I’ve been trying to find more about the character apart from the official dribs and drabs let out by Disney and Lucasfilm. Today, I think I have definitive proof….

During Hasbro’s 2017 earnings conference call this morning, CEO Brian Goldner stated that, in the future, product launches (i.e. events like Force Friday) for Star Wars entertainment will be timed closer to the entertainment’s release and not have months of lead in as happened with The Force Awakens, Rogue One and The Last Jedi and more in the vein of how it’s being handled for Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Walmart is starting to prep for the arrival of Star Wars Rebels product with new signage in their toy aisle. Hopefully, actual Rebels action figures will arrive soon to fill it out.
