Another rumor of ours that was officially confirmed today was the Walmart Exclusive Lando Calrissian (Skiff Guard) figure for the Vintage Collection. As you can see in the above shot from @JustinaLaSalata, it looks excellent!
After an extensive search online, we’ve located and added the UPCs and Walmart SKUs for the second wave of 6″ Black Series Archive (BSA) figures to our 2019 Master List of products. As you recall, Hasbro officially announced back in October at NYCC 2018 that wave 2 would consist of Anakin Skywalker, Yoda and the Biker Scout/Scout Trooper. Darth Maul* on the other hand has been on our rumor lists for a while and based on the UPC info found above, we now have Maul’s accurate (yet unofficial) confirmation. Case breakdown isn’t known at this time but we can guess that it will be similar to Wave 1 with a 2x pack out.
*Note: the image for Maul is not of the actual BSA figure.
Jayson and Flyguy are back after 6 months to discuss our thoughts on 2018, what’s to come in 2019 and the latest news in collecting. We touch on our purchases for the past few months and dive into some of the rumors revealed lately. All this and more on the triumphant return of the Realm Recap!
UPDATE: MP3 audio file now available for download
Right before NYCC, we posted a report about an upcoming $10 assortment of Hasbro figures referred to as Star Wars: Story in a Box*. The first four figures include Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca and R2-D2. After some further investigating, I’ve found there are four more of these sets (probably wave 2) that includes Princess Leia, Han Solo, Stormtrooper and Yoda. Watch for additional details on this product line soon.
As with all of our advanced rumor reports, details of these products are subject to change and/or cancellation altogether.
*Officially named “Galaxy of Adventures”
For those curious about Hasbro releasing new figures for the upcoming Star Wars: Resistance animated series, I can confirm today (via some online digging) that there are at least 6 figures (Kaz and Torra to name a couple) so far and they are a mix of Resistance and First Order characters. Stay tuned later this week for additional info on these figures and more.
Updated with character/figure names

Wave 16 has already started showing up in advance of the street date and Wave 17 may be hot on its heels.

Based on the our report from yesterday regarding the new Hero Series product names (Zeus and Vesta) found online, there is speculation/coincidence that these may be the first indicators that products for the untitled Han Solo movie could rely on Greek/Roman mythology to mask the character names from the film. Thoughts?
UPDATE 01/5/18: Names found so far: Zeus (Han), Athena (Qi’Ra), Vesta, Hercules (Chewbacca), Hermes (Lando), Artemis, Minotaur (Mimban), Gorgon, Cyclops, Perseus, Pegasus (Millennium Falcon), and Cronus (Moloch)
There are already two TLJ figures that feature packaging variants in the 3.75″ line. The first one, found over the weekend, switches the placement of the Porg and bowcaster accessories included with Chewbacca. The second is for General Hux which switches the position of the mouse droid (and turns it 90 degrees) and blaster. I know this info super serves a very small segment of collectors but as someone that likes to document these things, I thought I’d share it all the same.
