Images have been hitting the various social media feeds out there but this one in particular is quite interesting. Hot Toys’ Secret Base has on display a couple of licensor-pending sixth scale Stormtroopers but note the different heights? Could we in fact be getting a Han and Luke in Stormtrooper Disguise as well?
It goes without fail that Sideshow Collectibles always has one of the strongest displays at Comic-Con and this year is no different. Head on over to Rebelscum to check out their gallery comprising of prototypes for several sixth scale figures that have been announced recently as well as new Premium Format figures and the amazingly accurate Obi-Wan Kenobi Legendary Scale figure.
Hot Toys has just announced via Facebook the acquisition of both the 1:6 and 1:4 scale license for Star Wars products.
“A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away…”
We are extremely excited to officially announce today, Hot Toys has acquired the right to manufacture 1/6th scale and 1/4th scale collectible figures from the STAR WARS universe, including the upcoming highly anticipated Star Wars Episode VII that is set to hit theatres in December, 2015. Look forward to the high-end collectibles from the new movie and the original Episode I – VII!
Fans please stay tuned, and “May the Force be with you”!
