Since I’ve received dozens of emails, links and images, I’ll state openly here that images for (some) the 40th Anniversary 6″ figures have shown up across social media (via Amazon.com.mx). We won’t be sharing the images publicly per Hasbro’s request. We will say the images confirm the some of the rumors, so watch VERY SOON for preorders to go live on these items and for their full (official) reveal this weekend at Toyfair in New York.

You’ve read the teases for a while but the latest edition of the Star Wars Show has revealed the Vintage Kenner style packaging for the 6″ Black Series line of 40th Anniversary figures. While not all figures are shown, they do reveal a special exclusive version of the Luke Skywalker (X-wing Pilot) available at Star Wars Celebration.
Gentle Giant has sent out to its PG Members a preview of the final packaging for the upcoming Jumbo Kenner Han Solo in Carbonite Chamber announced back in April. Proving once again that Funko gets the collecting community, Matt Martin from StarWars.com has revealed via Twitter Funko’s Vintage Kenner-style POP! 3 pack featuring Hammerhead, Greedo and Walrus Man coming exclusively to Walmart.
Funko has confirmed that these are headed to stores this month.

Everything looks better in Vintage. The latest product to receive a Kenner packaging homage is Funko’s POP! bobblehead line. These custom vintage boxes were created by the talented designer John Lucas Reyes at Riverspoons Studios. Head on over to their Facebook page for the full gallery.

Bandai has launched a new series of 6″ figures from The Force Awakens as part of the Movie Vinyl Collection. This budget line features basic/minimal articulation while presented on a pseudo “Vintage” blister card back. The line kicks off with Kylo Ren (#01), First Order Stormtrooper (#02), Captain Phasma (#03), BB-8 (#04), R2-D2 (#05) and Chewbacca (#06).
You can order these figures now through sites like HobbyLink Japan and BBTS for around $15 each.
San Diego Comic-Con draws closer, and with that come even more reveals.
