New TVC figures have started to hit Walmart. this set was found in Fenton, MO.

A long time ago, in an alternate retail reality, fresh Star Wars product could be found at Walmart stores throughout the galaxy.
For the first time in many moons, my local Walmart is showing some positive signs – not only with a fresh reset, but actually stocking some new product AND the Star Wars section is now positioned at the front of the toy aisle as opposed to hiding near the back.
Not gonna lie… I felt like a kid there again for a brief moment. Pretty nice to feel a hint of that magic here and there.
Will this be a better year for Star Wars at retail? I’m not sure I’d bet the moisture farm on it, but I snapped a handful of close-up pics (including some new non-Star Wars items in the toy reset that caught my eye). Check them out here after the jump!
Recent shipping info shows that a mystery Black Series code name from our Master List has started to arrive in the U.S.. Based on the price of about $55, “Athena” could be another two pack of figures or one larger/fatter item. It is likely a Walmart exclusive in the U.S. We will update with additional info when available.
Preorders are now open for the VC397 Baze Malbus (Deluxe) figure ($27.99) from Rogue One. This figure is a fan channel exclusive. (i.e. not Amazon).
