You mean to tell me that these (very slight changes) ruin the movies for you? Stop the faux drama. I’m happy Lucas keeps his films fresh. Why do you need outdate versions of the films? I’m so sick of the faux outrage. I’m sure you purchased this set.

Wondering if I will be missing out on some goodies if I buy these seperate such as the prequel and classic sets. Easier for me to justify two payments on this.

I’m very excited that Star Wars has finally been released on Blu-Ray . But why is Anakin still not wearing his glove when he arrives on Mustafar ?

In reply to Jayson. Yes, I'm fully aware of all the awards the original Star Wars won (none having to do with story BTW). The big picture, to me, is that Star Wars still exists in it's original, unmolested form in my mind (and in yours I imagine) and no amount of tinkering, revising and re-editing is going to change that. Let George do with it what he will, I have plenty of other ways to watch it before all the changes were made the only thing is that it won't be in super-duper high-resolution and hi-fi audio. Do I think the originals deserve to be released on Blu-ray? Yes. Do I think they will? Yes. That is where I stand, tell as many folks as you like. One more thing, I don't own a blu-ray player or an HDTV so I'm not buying it anyway.

Obviously, this post is aimed at the fans excited about the release versus those who must complain about it at every mention. I’m not happy with most of the changes either but it doesn’t effect my love for Star Wars overall, it actually enhances it.
