I think they are great for what they designed them to be. Smaller,all the emphasis on the character, less of a carbon footprint, and meant to be opened! May days of keeping most things sealed are over, I guess that’s why I don’t give a hoot about variants!

the new Biker Scout figure has a variation, where some have the belt painted black while the others are left white

to me, that is more interesting than whether or not something is imprinted onto the plastic tray that holds the figure in place
