The way things are going by the time we get to 2015 the Star Wars line will be comprised of a bunch of pipe cleaners on a blister card with a picture of the character you get to build. For 17 dollars.

In reply to Rykrof_Enloe. Yeah, if they decide to do an all 5-POA lineup, I don't know that I'd be buying Ep. VII figures unless of course the movie just totally blew me away.

In reply to Bombadgungan. You know what I'd like to see, is a unified lineup for the EP7 launch. Something similar to the ROTS line back in 2005, with good quality. I am ok without there being a middle ground, something with an MSRP of about $7.99. Basically, the quality of figures like the Movie Heroes Jar Jar and Amidala, with some SA mixed in for the troop builders and such. But an all out 5POA line would very much depress me and might prevent me from caring about EP7 merchandise at all.

While I appreciated the figures I got over the years at the different levels of technology that were available at those times, it is now 2013 and will be nearly 2016 when the Ep. VII figures start to hit in full force. I understand the need to satisfy a pricepoint and am fine with the SL line of figures as long as I still see super-articulated, highly detailed, soft-goods clothed, accessory laden 3 3/4″ collector figures. That is the heart of my collecting and I don’t mind paying $10 a figure to get that level of quality and craftsmanship.
