Okay, I hope I'm not going to get into trouble for this. Not trying to step on Sideshow's toes or anything but there is a really cheap way to illuminate your entire collection with high powered LEDs just like in these expensive cases from Sideshow Collectibles.

Keep in mind the Sideshow cases are Battery Powered too! That means you can't just walk in the room and flick a switch and your entire colleciton lights up. You would have to poke at each individual display case to light them up every time you bring someone over to see them.

There is a specific formula and method I devised for calculating the amount of voltage/amperage for converting DC (battery powered) LEDs to AC (wall outlet powered). I did my entire collection using this method. People who don't even care about Action Figures come over to the house with their kids to marvel at it! I walk into my display room and click my remote switch and everything lights up! Imagine every piece, every figure in your collection illuminated just like the examples in Sideshow's advertisement above.

Please let me know if anybody is interested and I will do an article to publish here on how to go about this. I'm not selling anything. I just bought a bunch of LED lights cheap from China on eBay. They're like a dollar for 4 feet! Then you just have to know to wire them to an outlet instead of batteries. Same thing with individual LEDs for custom diorama lighting.

I can just simply do a write-up on how I did it. IT IS WORTH IT! It takes your collection from being a bunch of stuff on shelves to a serious museum-worthy display (If I dare say so myself).

Here (link below) are some humble examples of what I've done with my collection using math, a cheap Walmart Multimeter, and just $20 dollars worth of LEDs:
