Tion Medon – even when Half Price Books used to have a small section in the back with older figures tacked to the wall, they had one or two of him (as well as Wookiiee Warrior and Count Dooku, which I’d bought). I know he’s a VERY scene-specific character and is the only time I remember him in that one scene where he tells Obi-Wan that Grievous and the Separatist Council are hiding out there.

Which one? R4-G9 or Tion Medon? Because either way I’d have really enjoyed seeing a repack after the regular, basic line kicked off. Tion Medon has never been available in any other packaging in almost nine years, and there’s just one other Pau’an action figure in existence (unless the Inquisitor winds up being a member of the species).

I don’t get why one character released as one of the four Episode III Sneak Previews wasn’t given a figure # nor released in any of the subsequent waves months later.

I imagine the Episode VII Sneak Preview figures will be released and in stores around the summer or fall of 2015, if the patterns for the Sneak Preview merchandise of the three Prequels is any indication.

There may not be much time to increase quality with these over time – EP7 is right around the corner and we might not even see Rebels figures last more than a year. Hopefully, we’ll see a wave of characters in the Black Series in the Fall – 8-12 characters would be nice.

Fresh figures is always a good thing, I think the look of the figure is a bit of a hybrid design….

Now that the Clone Wars show and action figure line are both over, I find myself going through my rather large collection of Clone Wars figures and wishing that they “fit” aesthetically with my larger collection of main-line Star Wars figures. I still like them, but I kind of regret having spent the money on all of them, when I’m not as likely to enjoy them from here on out as compared to the rest of my collection. Which is a long-winded way of saying I learned my lesson, and I’m not getting into any more animated figure lines. And the 5POA make it much easier to resist.

The Clone Wars line was fun, but in retrospect, I wish all those cool figures fit aesthetically with my standard Star Wars figures.
