Right, they have the license for a while and that won’t be going away. Hasbro is more than capable of making outstanding product; they are just in extreme failure mode lately.

Exactly. Hasbro is just treading water until things ramp up with Rebels and the new movies. They probably don’t think there’s money to be made right now. Drop prices, cut costs even further, and hope to pay off the license rights even if at a trickle for now.

I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt. Why else would they produce this junk? Surely nobody at Hasbro thinks this is better than the stuff they made previously. There’s probably a real somber mood these days in the Star Wars branch at Hasbro.

Dollar store quality for sure.

Hasbro has the Star Wars license until 2020. They’ll likely renew then, too.
