This looks like Wave 3, minus the Wave 1 carry forwards. Wave 2 barely ever hit retail. They seem to have jumped right to Wave 3.

Maybe this is indeed a part of their change in direction. Maybe Wave 2 cases are being opened and modified or will eventually just be dumped into Five Below’s and similar. Otherwise, Wave 2 would peg jam everything seeing as how many dull carry forwards it has from Wave 1 that are major peg jammers already. And Wave 3 contains some great new figures, plus most of the new figures in Wave 2, and only a a few carry forwards from Wave 1, including Ceremonial Luke which didn’t peg jam around here.

I’m looking forward to Hasbro’s improved case packs moving forward.

I’ve seen remnants of Wave 3 several times now at Targets, Walgreens and at one Toys”R”us – no Plagueis yet

Apart from the Disney Store in my local mall, all I see at stores are Biggs — as well as peg-fulls of Slave Leia and Greedos in the 6″ scale. I’m crying foul on behalf of the state of Florida.
