Totally agree.

Maybe it would help if the first new printed material from Disney would be a Newhart style Star Wars comic…where Luke wakes up from a night’s sleep just after RotJ ends…and all of the EU up until Disney’s is just a dream…

I’m all for fresh start, to be honest… Especially if this means emphasis on the OT… And I don’t see Disney looking to sell off the brand… I expect this to be theirs from here on out, and for them to have pride in it.

In reply to nate e.. Exactly. You can't trust it. We all thought the EU would be there cohesively unless Lucas decided to do new movies. They never said if he does new movies we're going to wipe the entire post ROTJ from existence. They could have left things that the new movies don't contradict. I'm not willing to spend more money on something that in the end might not count.
