I like most of the 6″ Black Series OT figures, but I hate what they have done with the deluxe Jabba and now with this. It looks AWFUL and cheap!

Perhaps Harrison Ford’s on-set injury was from Han shooting himself in the foot while imitating Hasbro (who in such a case, shot first and often).

I think we should consider the 6″ line a failure. Darth Maul, Stormtrooper, and Boba Fett are the only figures of this line that have managed to sell. All the other ones, especially Han, Slave Lea, and Greedo are major peg warmers at every retail store. Because of the price range, figures are a hit and miss for this line, something that will become too costly for Hasbro. This set is an attempt to get rid of all the Han and Greedo overstock that retailers are not reordering. We’re closing on the one year anniversary of this line and the Luke in pilot outfit and R2-D2 can still be found in abundance every where. Perhaps they should make sets around the ones that have been hard to find- Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, and Darth Maul. I’m sure the Original Darth Vader is going to be popular but the others coming out will be a hit or miss. I think this line will be discontinued by the end of the year.

I think that as a community, Hasbro does not consider collectors to be their target audience
these new sets of old figures are not designed for existing fans, but to draw in new ones
