There’s a lot more ALIEN fans in San Diego alone, even WITHOUT a convention, than 250. Utterly ridiculous. I’m really glad I didn’t dive into this line, and I let Super7 know exactly how I felt. First it was the “bonus figure” they were going to provide to people that only preordered with them, then the con exclusives, and now the ridiculously priced and numbered playset. I see they have other items on the roster, and the eggs with figures in them actually sound like a fun idea, but the fact remains that there are more than 250 of us and it’s just not fair. If I had started collecting them, I would be super pissed right now. The way I see it, there’s no point in collecting a specialty line like that if you can’t have a chance to own all the goodies within it. For that, Super7 has failed and I have never bought anything from them.

In reply to Making Old Men Mad. You must be a liberal. Telling everyone how to behave is a liberal tactic. Is it pouting to say the Alien line was on my list but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. When I saw the playset I definitely wanted to buy them sooner but because the playset is canceled, it has moved off my list again. What is wrong with what I am saying? It must be nice to try to control other's opinions.

those Alien figures were designed in the late 70s
they found and bought the old molds and made the figures with them

and you are totally right about the price of that playset for what it actually is
