Wow. Some of that damage is likely from HTS, both rough handling in the warehouse and poor packing. But the water damage is probably the shipping carrier. That's a double whammy.

Well, they weren't kidding when they said damaged in shipment. The original shipping box was replaced with a pristine new one by FedEx. Inside I found Jabba had been dropped into some body of water as the display box was still damp and warped all over. If HasbroToyShop expects me to pay full price for this, they can have it back.

That is how I feel about it when I get down on it. Being frank about it I do agree, it does seem as though they are incapable or correcting these fundamental issues. They plague all their lines from Spider-Man, Transformers, G.I. Joe, the Marvel Studios movie lines etc, everything.

With the way that they have done lines like Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Thor: The Dark World, and Guardians of the Galaxy have all been non events. Disney must be happy about the situation as nothing changes.

I in fact never even noticed a push for GotG, as the figures were just salted amongst the Thor, Captain America, Avengers, Iron Man 3 movie figures thety still can't move.

So clearly this does not seem to be a problem for Disney. I am at a loss to see how, or on what lines Hasbvro is making its money.

You don't slip down to third place by doing things right. Hasbro's problems have basically moved from a rescue operation to a recovery operation. "Right" is going to have to wait. It will probably take external factors (new movies, Disney mandate, etc) to revive things. Let's be honest, Hasbro can't fix this internally—we're years into this mess and still falling.

Same here. FedEx did a beautiful job moving the package. The shipping box looks brand new with not one dent, ding, or scuff.

Yet the contents are BEAT UP.

As usual, HTS did not fill the void in the box. There was two paltry pieces of paper floating along with Jabba in the box. If the dunnage doesn't fill the void, it's the same as no dunnage at all. Dunnage is meant to fill voids so the product has zero movement, and also absorb bangs and drops preventing them from transferring in to the contents.

I'm also guessing HTS beats up products in the warehouse, too. I bet how they are inventoried and how they are put in storage and how cases are opened involves a lot of rough handling.

Like I said, this is usual for HTS. They do not run a professional pick, pack, and shipping operation. Not even close. I was fully expecting this. Other than exclusives, HTS is on my blacklist.

When is BBTS twice the price? I often get things cheaper at BBTS than HTS.

Also is anybody else concerned about the rubber material on Jabba cracking and splitting over time? Remember what happened to the the Ask Yodas? These seem to be made of the same rubbery material.

Well I finally received both of my Jabbas today after dealing with a Fedex delivery setback for 2 days and they were both dented and battered. Pretty much what I expected after reading all of the reports. I am utterly gutted and absolutely disgusted. HASBRO REALLY DOESN'T CARE!
