Earlier today, in Los Angeles area, most stores showed “out of stock”, a few shoed in stock, which I believe could have just been 3 3/4 black series, as one that showed in stocked had 3 3/4, but not 6″. HOWEVER, tonight ALL Los Angeles stores on the check store feature show “contact store” instead. I guess they realized the feature doesn’t work.

In reply to Murph. Thats awesome, Murph. I thought i got lucky last week when i asked a manager if he had the figs and he said he thought he did. As soon as he left to check in the back, i did my Xmas coming early dance. ( i hope that doesn't show up on youtube) He came back with a case of darth vader shampoo figs. Doh! I walked backed to my car with my head down like Charlie Brown.

In reply to martiniman. I actually just got lucky. That same manager told me to try another store 2 stops down from me. I went home for a while first but I just got back from there and I got one! The only had 2 bobas In stock, no other figures, which was a bummer, but I'm really glad I got it. You're right though, give it a month and things will be better. I hope all these scalpers get stuck with a bunch of stuff they can't sell as soon as that happens.

Found a Darth Vader in one location thanks to the function. Alas, it was the only store with stock, and it seemed to only be Darth Vader for now. Still, it is useful if you keep tabs daily. Or so I would imagine. This was my first time seeing any of them on pegs.

In reply to Murph. I have given up hope of finding a fett in the wild for now. I refuse to camp outside Walgreens or learn the secret handshake of their managers like the scalpers do. I will start looking again in a month or whenever the figures are plentiful. The scalping is really bad in my area (central NC). Someone has the fett figure for $125 on craigslist. So sad.

I’m all sick and feverish but when I saw -in stock- at my store I walked down there anyway cause I really want one. Got myself all excited, got there… nothing. Asked a manager and he said yup, we actually have a whole big display for those. I’m like ok, where is it? Manager says the truck comes every monday, is unloaded by noon, and at three the same guy comes in and buys every single figure to resell online! He said they ordered 3 cases last time and the guy was like ok great and bought all 3.

I used the store locator list and went to 3 Walgreens that showed stock available. The first store I was met with hostility from a lady who said I was going to sell the figures for $500 and tried to tell me that the 12″ Hasbro figures were from that assortment and that was all she had and it was no use trying to explain to her that they would all be 6″ figures even if it wasn’t te Boba Fett. 2nd store was more friendly, but said they already sold the 2 or 3 they had received. Third store no one knew anything. So the store locator is useless.

The Walgreens function is wrong. Been to the stores and they are sold out
