Y’know… it’s a great looking figure, and it’ll be just fine without the knee joints. My only gripe is having to spend so much on such a small figure — and I’d feel the same way if he had articulated knees. This would have been a good time to pack in some extra stuff. Pots, pans, cargo boxes from Luke’s X-Wing, a bush — virtually anything else that would soften the blow of spending $20 on a four inch figure.

What’s it matter if he has knee articulation? This is dying Yoda. If this was AOTC or ROTS Yoda I would be miffed. All dying Yoda does is lift up the X-Wing with his mind. Luke carries him around for a bit. And then he dies, laying down. Don’t need knees for any of that. I wish they would have went prequel Yoda. This is one boring figure.

They want to cheap out on the articulation? Fine, but then at least make up for it by packing in some more accessories. Luke’s lamp or some of his cargo boxes, maybe Yoda’s pot or a backpack large enough to carry Yoda in anticipation of a potential 6″ Dagobah Training Luke. Fill up that box for heaven’s sake because as it stands now, that is no where near $20 worth of figure right there.

They have absolute winners like Han Solo where you get an extra set of hands, two blasters and a swappable Stormtrooper belt and then ROTS Obi-Wan where all we get is a Lightsaber but no cloak? Really?

I refuse to purchase TBS Jabba knowing there are accessories out there that go with him that I’m likely never going to own, unless they make the SDCC extras available some other way. For $40 it should include the throne parts and Salacious.

I agree 100% on both points. If McFarlane can include a real metal chain on both of “Michonne’s Pets” figures, there’s no reason why Hasbro couldn’t have had one on the Black Series 6inch Slave Leia.

Heck, The Star Wars Unleashed Slave Leia has a real metal chain!!

Hasbro keeps restating that The Black Series are for “collectors”. Note to Hasbro: “Collectors” don’t like cost-cut/cheap merchandise sold at higher prices. Collectors are a savvy group.
