I just purchased the 42161 date-stamped Vader today and it is NOT updated. It’s the smaller head post as shown in the image above. That being said, the head stays on fine. It must be a really, really tight grip with that huge new ball-socket joint.

we touched on the date stamp issue on Episode 39 of The Realm Recap. If the card back has 42161 or later, you should have the updated/fixed one.
