It was more of a slight at RS with their April Fools vintage painted S/A figures a while back and the following poll they had. I just think careful what you wish for as Hasbro have a tendancy of ramming things down your throat. And with things like this done Hasbro are not all to blame.

Bossk lookds great. Han nice but should have had a rifle too. The paint jobs on the Tauntaun and Wampa looked so much better in the earlier pictures. Shame Hoth han does have a hood down piece and Luke should have a second none scarred head too; other than that they look great. Maybe a Tauntaun with uninjured Luke will appear soon.

Oh a lil less blood on the Wampa would be nice.

Vintage should stay where it belongs, in the past. This is the 21st century lol. I blame all those fans (mainly at RS) who said they wanted vintage-style figures and now were stuck with Legends and Rebels.

So far I’ve liked or loved every Hasbro Tauntaun in the Modern era. I’m sure some collectors will complain about the figure not having a “dirtier” fur wash or no split-open belly feature, but I already have several of the fantastic split-belly Tauntauns from the 2003 Saga period (TRU multipack exclusives) and while it would indeed have been very cool, it wasn’t as important as getting the overall look, shape and scale right when compared to the Han and Luke figures.
