Sadly you know that they will. If we are lucky they will do a set of black series 4″ figures and give us the main characters, but my expectations are very low for what we will get.

Mixed feelings! On one hand, the trailer did a great job of establishing the look of the film and introducing the new characters. We got to see a lot of familiar stuff, but with a new twist. On the other hand, it’s not my Star Wars anymore, it’s obviously a new aesthetic, and having imagined “what comes next” for thirty years, this is very different. Also, it confirms that a lot of the leaks appear to be true. This is cause for concern, because nothing about the alleged plot has excited me yet. So, I am conflicted. But overall it’s just great and surreal to be seeing this stuff and letting my imagination run wild as to how it all pieces together.

In reply to TheaterG33k. I kind of agree with you. The aesthetic has thrown me off a bit. It definitely looks like a JJ Abrams film and not a Star Wars film. But, I have to let that go.

In reply to FireFox91. Not trolling at all. The best that can be said about that teaser, is that maybe Abrams is doing his best to lower expectations. The opposite of the Phantom Menace trailer, which sure suckered me into thinking TPM would going to be good.

I thought the trailer was perfect. I gave you a taste without giving anything away. It shows the kinds of things that the fans want to see. I loved it.

In reply to prone2think. I didn't notice that before. That would explain how the 1:1 prop shown in Abrams charity video clearly showed only 1 surface. I love it.
