For some reason I’ve been on a real Jedi Luke surge in the last few years. I’ve always liked Luke and preferred him to Han, but something has got me wanting Death Star II Luke as of late. Maybe it’s because I was never satisfied with the earlier attempts (I’m looking at you LC ’09/BD 16 Luke). Well here we are in 2014 and I am finding myself inundated with them! From 5-POA SL Jedi Luke to TBS 6″ Jedi Luke to even a respectable albeit simple 12″ Titan Jedi Luke. I have to say I am thrilled to get this retro-inspired SL version. Great sculpt, great silhouette, fantastic likeness, and even great paint on my version.

Ugh… I vowed to quit collecting modern lines after TVC and early TBS, but these new low-articulation figures look SO good, so Kenner-like and at a sub $7 price point… Stop messing with me, Hasbro!

Was this ever really released anywhere on the original Vader line-look Saga Legends card?

This looks pretty solid. I don’t think I’ll get one since I love my TVC light saber construction luke as my ROTJ luke. Great photos as usual Jayson!
