In terms of ‘sculpt’, this is GORGEOUS!!
If Hasbro apply THIS sculpt to the the TBS 3.75″ with the usual 13-14 POA & use ‘soft goods’ for the ‘skirt’ then THAT will be perfect too!! 😀

SL figures are 5 poa, and cost 7.00. While TBS have 14 poa and cost 10 dollars. Reaction figures are total crap, they are just terrible and not worth talking about. I do feel that The SL figures should be in the 3.99 price range, due to the fact they are so cheap to produce.

I like this Snowtrooper. A lot. And I mean – a lot.

If that makes me History’s Greatest Monster™ then pronounce me guilty, but I have to give this (admittedly cheaper and more primitive) figure every bit of credit it deserves.

Some 5-POA figures stink. This isn’t even close to being one of them.

Compared to a Hasbro figure with 3x the articulation and 2x the price, the SL figures are priced “realistically” for today’s market. Take Funko’s ReAction line of 3.75″ figures for example – those are very much in the same vein as the legends – “worse” even – from a sculpt standpoint and those figures are the same price as the TBS line. No one EVER has implied that the Saga Legends figure were meant to usurp/replace the TBS line – and they won’t. They are are intended to be a cheaper, more kid targeted alternative. As far as them being “crap”, beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess but from a sculp/likenesst standpoint, these knock the 1979-1998 figures in the dirt. But again, Hasbro’s intentions with this line aren’t to sway/attract the “old” collector but engage the new generation and there has to be an acceptance of both schools of thought.

Bland, and boarding, compared to the SA snowtroopers. I just don’t see how anyone can get excited over this figure, when the last one was ( imo ) the best version ever released. This ( like most other SL figures) is a step in the wrong direction.

And yes, for the price, and what you get this figure is crap. I would be a little more friendly and towards these figure if they were priced more realistically.

Nice figure. Before everyone jumps in with “it’s crap because it has minimal articulation”, I know. But I already have a whole bunch of VTSC-sculpt Snowtroopers, so this one is a bit different. It’s not my go to figure for action poses in a dio, but he is kind of a neat throw back to the “real vintage” Snowtrooper, only now with a more authentic sculpt. BTW, that one didn’t have a neck joint either. 😉
