That would make the most sense to me, who needs a bunch of sounds and lines from movie at least put out a ship for people to buy! :D

*If* the BMF is re-relesed for TFA, I would expect the new radar dish, but also wouldn't be surprised to see some decontenting to bring the price down. Perhaps they will ditch the electronics - lights & sounds. I doubt they'd do a Class II Falcon. That would have to be tiny, hollow and with few features to fit that pricepoint. Maybe a brand new sculpt in the vein of the old Kenner Millennium Falcon? Similar size and play feature to that one, but again, without electronics to keep the price in check. That could come in at $45 - $75.

My prediction?

I fully expect 5POA to continue and to be the "main line" for The Force Awakens. As such, I would expect that line to sport the TFA line look that we can expect to see across all licensees from Jakks Pacific to Lego to Uncle Milton. I would also think that with the focus on TFA, this line may drop the "Saga Legends" banner. How Rebels will be wrapped into this I am not sure. Maybe with the same cards, look and asst. #, but with only the words "Star Wars" as the banner and "The Force Awakens" omitted.

I expect the 6-inch "adult collector" line to continue as well. It appears to be doing well. They will want to do the main characters from Ep. VII, but I don't know if they should or will go all in. Maybe just the first wave or two next Fall and then revert back to a full "Saga" lineup with the occasional new Ep. VII character dropped in.

The biggest question is the S/A 3 3/4" line. This is still my favorite format and I believe that is true for most adult fans, so I do hope it continues and gets fair representation on the pegs next Christmas. Will Hasbro do a line of figures *just* from The Force Awakens? I don't know. That has been their M.O. in the past (for Ep. I, Ep, II & Ep. III), but it feels like times have changed and they may be sprinkled into a lineup of the broader saga, albeit more heavily at first. My gut tells me this line may not be branded as The Force Awakens. If The Black Series banner is retired, it may be given a different "generic" name (ie. The Saga Collection, The Legacy Collection, etc.).

I am kind of doubtful that The Vintage Collection will return as "the look" for this release. But I don't completely rule out TVC collector-aimed vehicles or sets (ie. Kmart packs) and wouldn't even be too shocked with a single carded supplementary collection in the vein of VOTC/VTSC.

I appreciate your honest appraisal of what collecting has become.
While I didn't agree with a lot of the opinions that were said nothing was too over the top! Thanks for sharing your thought in the future!

Or even worse it's the same falcon in a new box and the radar dish is not changed at all! I wouldn't put it past them these days!

Sadly the BMF next year will be the return of the BMF. I say sadly as probably the only difference with be the radar dish, not buying another just for that. Unless there are new rooms shown on the falcon or alterations, and Hasbro did them too.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for the return of Vintage for TFA. Even if only for an exclusive/limited run, it makes too much sense for Hasbro to pass up, although I can see them keeping that card up their sleeve for when sales start to decline.
