Another thing I was thinking and you seem to be a little more in the know then I am, but why would they try and sell phantom menace stuff all year? What were they thinking? I don’t think you could even do that with the original Star Wars. Then they get way behind on everything else and just re-release it because it didn’t sell when it was supposed to. And they blame us!

Are we finally going to see wave one of the single pack legends some time in the fall and then they will blame us for that too!

The point is they are pawning off the list of figures and calling them new instead of actually giving us something NEW , plus with the price increase at target do you think that is a sold idea?

Maybe, and I know this is hard to swallow, but maybe Hasbro listened to those of us who said we’d be willing to pay more if the quality returned to its former glory and this price hike coincides with increased quality? Far fetched I know, but…

Just a quick question Peakob1, because this isn’t adding up for me. Going by the TVC Greatest Hits list I have, only 2 figures have seen release in TBS; Hoth Luke (repainted with an all-new head) and repainted Starkiller (Galen Mareck). One more is slated for an upcoming wave (TCW Anakin) and a 4th was canceled (Imperial Navy Commander). So how does 3 out of the list of 23 Greatest Hits equal “almost every single character has been put back into the toy line”? Not by my calculations.

Excellent! Glad to hear it Darth Eddie. The first set I bought from Target had some offset eyes, but strangely enough they were a bit endearing. They really gave the figure character and contributed to his “animated” feel. I have since seen many more of these sets show up at TRU and had no trouble finding some with nicely centered eyes.

Somehow I managed to find a Rebels C-3PO with halfway-decent eyes. It’s far from ideal, but at least the eye dots are facing in (generally) the same direction. =0)

I guess I’m a bit less harsh on the paint apps at retail because eventually I’ll find one that is decent. Like Rebels MS 3PO and his googly eyes, LOL! I don’t condemn the figure just because the early examples are not perfect. Unfortunately, when I succumb to the temptation of ordering online, I’m usually disappointed.
