I know he’s a main character and all, but I wasn’t originally planning on getting Ezra either. Nor Kanan for that matter. TRU had a nice sale going on the Jedi Reveal sets around Christmas, so I took the bait.

I completely understand your “must be selective” situation Rob.

I didn’t find many of the long sabers by the time I began collecting Modern figures in 1998 but it was fun to learn about and see some of the POTF2 lightsaber variations.

Who can forget the long/short sabers from POTF2?

Some variants are cool and worth picking up, like the unique Canadian cardback photo for the VC20 Yoda (which I still can’t find for a decent price). Others….eh, not so much, but at least they help keep things interesting by making us look for certain figures.

I won’t be chasing variants either, although I don’t look down on that sort of thing, I just can’t afford it.
Now I know that the repack of the Inquisitor has slightly different deco than the ones I have. Interesting, but not a reason unto itself for me to buy him again.

I passed on Ezra. The single carded version. If I see it again I may take the bait but I won’t go looking for Ezra. He is colourful I’ll give him that.

It’s an interesting footnote for me but that’s about it. Now I know that my two Inquisitors both have the earlier markings under the eyes, yet one has a black date stamp, the other has a white stamp. (neither are opened, so I couldn’t have know that)
