I’d forgotten about that design option. That’s how the DTF and Vintage Collection Gungan Warrior pole accessories were made and packaged. Thanks for remembering that, man, it’s a good idea!

How about a 2-part staff with the bottom section plugging into the top section?

Unless they make his skull staff shorter compared to Amanaman than the POTJ 3.75″ figure’s accessory then they might have to pack it behind him and at an angle. Hey, as long as they give him the staff and a full range of ball-jointed arm articulation!

If these 6″ figures are indeed made like how we were shown Greedo’s original photographs were being used to map out how the figure is made top to bottom, hopefully the same is done with Amanaman. Impossible for him to be 3 3/4″ (remember POTJ was a double sized cardback), and the Kenner original was cramped up in what little space it had in the bubble LOL).

Only two requests: have wire in his arms so they can be bent, not articulated at the elbows like POTJ. And most definitely not like Kenner, no one hand totally closed off and holds nothing (you literally had to prop one end of the staff on top of the other hand, it looked silly). Also, maybe synthetic hair on the “trophy staff”. Not a lot, just the ponytails. If need be, I can go to Kentucky, hand-pick and fashion my own Amanaman staff and show Hasbro how it’s done.

Starting with that punk baseball card shop owner who bugged Wal-Mart and got each and every one of those KISS MacFarlane figures in 1996 – don’t think I’ve forgotten that! He can be first addition to the staff.

Doh! Well, maybe if you check around the web you can still find it at a good deal. They seemed to have made plenty of these.
