In reply to Dan Loisell. My guess is the 5-POA "Saga Legends" line is being discontinued only to be replaced by the "The Force Awakens" 5-POA line. Now with a new assortment number. As far as Rebels, is it possible it (the figures) may go on a break until after TFA?

In reply to Derek W. While a $7.99 3.75" S/A figure would sure be nice, I feel it is but a pipe dream. I just can't see them dropping the price of a TBS-level figure from the current $12.99 down to $7.99 despite the drop in the price of crude. Even accounting for a potentially larger production run of TFA product, you still have to realize labor costs are not dropping, but will only continue to climb.

…And you know, with all of the controversy over the figures – the lack thereof – when I saw some images of the core cast of characters online the other day, I was bitterly underwhelmed. Most notably was the terrible – TERRIBLE – paint apps on Hera. If this is the best that Hasbro can do then, I’m sorry, but they really aren’t trying anymore…

In reply to RumSleg. Well it would appear that not a whole lot of Rebels product has made it to stores (my own experience and from what I've read), so you might be right.

In reply to Rykrof_Enloe. Yep. Lego. While they do have some awesome product, it can get very pricey very quickly. And it requires a whole lot more shelf space than some 3 3/4 or 6" figures.

None of this really makes sense from a sales perspective because these figures have been hard to find since last fall. So even though a vocal group within the collecting community hates the 5POA their are clearly tons of people buying up all these figures. Also we know season 2 of Rebels is coming so we will not get any additional figures from this series ever? The whole thing seems confusing and makes no sense.

I’d be okay with reduced articulation as well. If they go with a blended line that gives us figs similar to POTJ/SAGA in articulation, with sculpts and paintjobs that are a step up from what we’re getting now, then I’ll be relieved.
But if the new TFA are more of what we’re currently getting in the SL line, then I’m not interested.
