I wasn’t so sure upon first seeing the earlier Jedi Luke and Vader, but the concept seems to translate much better on cyborgs, as I imagine it would on droids and armored troopers. Even Obi-Wan looks pretty good from a distance. The fact that he’s done in the animated style may help alleviate the expectation that he be a perfect physical representation.
