It is out of control. If the Han in carbonate wave shows up at $12.99, I won’t be buying any. Like other people mentioned below, I’d be more willing to give Hasbro the benefit of the doubt when it comes to pricing due to licensing costs, but GiJoe, which Hasbro owns, also shot up to SW level pricing in recent years. I really, really hope that Force Awakens 3.75” will come out at a sensible price.

As long as people are willing to pay…hasbro is making the right move (from their perspective)…I mean how many of you here are NOT going to buy Carbo-Han or Mosep in protest because you are outraged by Hasbro’s prices? The customers are ultimately the main drive behind the product’s pricing…and of course telling a collector simply not to buy is like telling an addict simply not to drink or smoke.
But then lets say by some miraculous phenomenon, *collectors* all around the world absolutely stopped buying (specifically) the Star Wars 3 3/4 inch action action figure line. Do you think hasbro would even noticed if a small slice of their market, for a single line of product for one of the many licenses, had stopped buying?

The Elite Forces stuff is the best value I think anywhere for what you get… and they are right next to Star Wars.

I don’t expect Hasbro can compete with that pricing for a licensed product, but they also have GI JOE pricing quite a bit more by comparison too, which they own.

The only Hasbro boys brand that I think is fairly priced really are the Transformers toys. You get quite a bit of playability and all that in most of those.
