Sorry, Joe. I only just now saw your message. I snapped up all 9 they had left. For 6.99 each, there was no way I could pass any of them up.

The only time I’ve ever hit my area Big Lots was about a year ago. I actually had to do a Google search to find them. They were way out of the way for me and not worth the trip. All they had were a few 2012 Movie Heroes at a bargain price of $9.99 each!

Did you pull the “insane” trigger and complete your set via Go! Calendars, Derek? If it helps, you will not be the only “insane” collector out there to pay $20 a figure. I’ve picked up 2 so far (Biker Scout & Clone Sergeant) and am looking for the others. I know there are other collectors who have paid the price. The figures themselves may not be all that rare, but the packaging certainly is. I little bit of Star Wars toy history.

Marshalls and TJMaxx are owned by the same company. My wife used to work for them. But yes, there were way better options for getting these out there, and probably none of them charging anywhere near what GO! Stores are. I called my GO! store, and was told they had several of the figures. If I pick up the three figures I’m missing from them, I will be spending just as much as I did for the 9 I have! Granted at that point it would average out to about 11.00 a figure, but I was told by three people I’m insane for even thinking of paying 19.99 for a modern figure. I guess it just comes down to how badly I want to finish the set. Maybe time will tell and these will find light into other discount retailers. Who knows?
