In reply to Derek W. Derek, it will floor you when you break out your TBS phase I, Wave 2 Stormtrooper with the other head/neck and compare the two (if you have not already) -- while not perfect, it's a huge step forward.

Interesting. I’ll have to keep my eye out for that. The one I picked up at TRU has the stickered #8.

Of note, out of the 3 Stormtroopers I’ve seen so far, every one has had messy paint apps to one degree or another. The body suit not being painted completely or painted out over the armor around the knees, elbows and armpits, the “mouth” being painted crooked and “eyes” being underpainted and/or off to one side. Is anyone else seeing this? Does the newer batch seem any better?

In reply to Derek W. I got the previous release last year at my now-closed Disney Store. The only problem mine had is that the helmet's goggles were a little splotchy, but it didn't bother me too much! At least it was better than having no paint applied to the visor at all like with what I saw with a Commander Neyo!

I mentioned this particular variant on a post I made on Facebook when I uploaded that image with Rex and the other figures of the wave at my local PX store back in May. Pretty interesting how they did this! =P

Definitely interested — have two on the way, but got additional two at a Target this week. Target’s had the 00 rev packaging and stickers, so hopefully my incoming will include 01 sans stickers. Thanks for bringing.
