LEGO con exclusives have generally been awesome in the past. But this year's Star Wars ones so far (this and the CVII set) being micro dioramas miss the mark. These sets are most appealing when they feature a minifig. A pile of five single pip tiles is not very exciting as a Luke X-Wing figure (nor is three tiles to represent Yoda o_O ! ). Add to that what seems like a new and even more hostile and impossible method of distributing lottery tickets for the mere chance to buy these, and LEGO may soon be at the tipping point where people get fed up. They've come a long way from when they almost went out of business in 2002 and Star Wars pulled them back from the brink. Back then, the company was friendly and engaging with fans in person at cons and other events. Now in the wake of The LEGO Movie and facing the surge of Marvel and Star Wars, at the beginning of a new era of possible profit, they've become downright nasty and borderline abusive at SDCC. Their staff straight up lies and pushes people around and laughs right behind people's backs. It's amazing how success has spoiled them rotten, and SDCC brings out the worst in them of any event all year. I guess that's true about SDCC and lots of people.

Yeah, I realize it is exclusive, but dang, 40.00 is a bit much for what you get, 30 would be too much but a lot better.
