This set contains nothing but good figures, even if only a few of them are truly top-notch. No filler or pegwarmers in this multipack!

I can’t even tell from the above image if the arms are different. I was leaning towards them being reused. I’m pretty confident that the head is new and the body looks pretty different as well.

There is a pretty good chance I will be buying this. If I do, it will be primarily for the Rancor. The revised Jabba is a little added incentive and an extra Gamorrean is always a win. At least all the included figure repacks are premium quality TVC figures. I can use them in other dioramas or if nothing else, as custom fodder.

I imagine a lot of people will buy this just for the new Jabba and the TVC Gamorrean Guard, but another chance to get the most recent Rancor is an added incentive.

I’m down for it if it does hit general release after SDCC. I really do not need another
Luke, Leia or 3PO, but I’ll take a new Jabba. It can replace the Walmart one on the base. The only Rancor I own is from The Force Unleashed, and who doesn’t need another Gammy?

Paul and others say it will be a general release, though. It’ll be in regular TRU stores after Comic-Con’s over. I hope so, anyways, even if it’s going to be $130 because they need something new on those shelves that people are actually going to buy.

He’s reportely a scaled down version of the 6″ mold. Shame this is going to be a SDCC exclusive. But I guess they thought better of a general release considering all those unsold Endor packs currently on shelves.
