In reply to Bombadgungan. I went to the Hasbro booth around 11am on Thursday. First official day (beside Wed night preview). I was told the line to buy exclusives was closed for the day. They said you had to get a wristband at 7am that day in a different building (Sails Pavilion) just to get in line to buy exclusives. When you spend that much money just to go to the con, and before noon, you have no chance whatsoever to even get close to buying the exclusive, that's wrong.

Isn’t part of the draw of an “exclusive” item that it isn’t widely available to everyone who may want one?

I’d certainly be upset if I wasted hours in line to buy one of these only to be told they were sold out, so maybe they need a more efficient system of distributing their daily allotment.

At least we can all take solace in the fact that the figure itself will be a general release soon enough.

I’m so glad i did not bite to the 6″ scale. Con ex were already a pain to obtain as a overseas collector back in the 3.75in days It seems scalpers behaviors moved from EBay stores to convetions floors.
On a side note, i have a theory about that sudden shortage. Following preview night mess they might actually have decided to keep stock in the back room to avoid another riot at their booth and save remaining units to sell on their site on the 28th.

Good Job Hasbro, this just confirms Hasbro has no business sense anymore, they don’t know how to produce product for the collectors and they don’t know how to produce enough of it for a show or how to sell it at a show, guess the Past is the Past, their Glory Days are just like the Jedi….GONE
