Yeah, that definitely gave me hope to hear Yavin Ceremony Leia is still coming. Like you said, I too feel they wouldn’t release her all on her own. Therefore my reasoning is there will be more super-articulated 3 3/4″ figures to come. Yippee!

I love Bib Fortuna, so wouldn’t say no to a new version of him. 🙂 But personally I feel there are others that need updating worse than him. I’m still pretty happy with the TSC ’06 Bib.

There are some others that have supposedly been in the works for awhile – Lobot, Hammerhead. How about the canceled Yavin Medal Bearer or Tzizvvt? There’s your Cantina patron, and a totally new figure to boot. I’ll take the Lars’ homestead Power Droid (in blue) as the token droid for this wave. 🙂

I don’t think Vintage is coming back this year. It sure didn’t sound like it from the Jedi Defender interview. I think they are still sticking with “The Black Series” as the collector label for now.

I heard that and thought, “Yes, finally. My Sandcrawler that I have written to them about for 2 years may finally come. Then I remember things like the Ghost. And the fact that I have spent over $1800 so far to build a studio scale replica of the original used in filming (nope, not close to finishing yet).

So who do you think/hope the other 5 would be.

A cantina patron either a resculpt or totally new figure.
And then probably a droid
And finally, another Obi-Wan but with something new that provides only a marginal delight.

The real kicker here is that we won’t see any 3 3/4″ super-articulated figures from The Force Awakens.

From another answer it sounds like we’ll be getting a variety of vehicles in the coming year(s) Hopefully more in The Black Series 3.75″ line.

I must have missed that announcement and my natural inclination when Hasbro announces something is to automatically fear the worst. And the MLP announcents came right on the middle of my questions. Have you had to squint your eyes because you think it makes you hear better? That was me.

This isn’t news. 🙂 It was reported a long time ago when the reveal was first made that the figure was coming. I am paraphrasing, but it went something like “C-3PO will be coming vac-metallized. It’s the only way to do him.” (Although from the Q&A it seems that they are looking for alternates to vac-metallization, no? It sounded as if vac-metallization might cost about $40 for a 6″ figure now.) I don’t know, all I could hear was My Little Pony announcements.
