It wasn’t too long ago that Lucasfilm was actively lampooning itself with the creation of Star Wars detours and to a lesser extent the Yoda Chronicles. Now that Disney owns things, I’m surprised that this one got through.

She seems like the type of person who thrives on people’s complaints and uneasiness with what she calls comedy. If people must complain, they should do so to GQ for their questionable use of these characters. Otherwise, ignoring her attention-grabbing tactics by not buying the magazine or viewing the photos online is probably the best action to take. I find this woeful escapade rather crass, but there are more important things happening in the world that require more attention than this.

I personally think she is absolutely hilarious. Edgy female comedians make most people uncomfortable. Watch her stand up. If men were making those jokes, you’d be laughing. Somehow it’s funny when Louis CK does it, but from her, it’s “obnoxious.” Funny that nobody calls male comedians “butt ugly” either.

In reply to Miguel Sandoval. Sorry, but her looks AREN'T the issue. The issue is the appropriateness (or lack thereof) of the photos. To be honest I kinda dig her, but I question GQ's judgement using Star Wars characters w/ out getting Disney's okay. The Chewbacca and C-3PO look very authentic. Personally I have no real problem w/ the pics, but I could see how others might. .
