That stuff tears easily and is essentially like covering it with aluminum foil. They come in small sheets too. No way it can cover that entire figure. Best bet is to get a can of Krylon chrome spray. Won’t be 100% mirrored chrome but it is the best you will get AND look a helluva lot better than Hasblow’s cheap “silver” paint.

It is a woman under there. That being said, why is the crotch piece on her armor bigger?

The releases so far have stated the size on the box. 18″, 19″, or 20″. (fine priont on the box front) Nice, because although not accurate scales, at least offers the illusion of scale to each other. Phasma seems like she might be a tad taller than Darth Vader’s 20″.
Can’t tell if the fine print on TFA boxes list the size or not.

That does irk me. Worse when there is just a little opening for a try me feature and you can see a black finger size spot. That happens alot on talking plush.
What also kills me is when I see toys coated in silly string in a store!

Side note though Rob, at least you got Cody over there. In the US, he never appeared. Asking at the conventions about a US release, Jakks said there were licensing issues. We got a Utapau trooper, but I have always wanted Cody to lead them.

My vintage Kenner C-3PO’s finish stood the test of time really well. But I took pretty good care of my toys. My favorite golden droid saw many adventures, but not much bashing around, being flung across the room or buried in the dirt. He mostly stood around dispensing etiquette and protocol. 🙂

I agree, this Jakks figure is a toy to be played with by kids. No need for chrome. I also doubt they’d be able to get this in the same assortment as the others if it were chromed, due to the undoubtedly much higher cost. It would have to be a stand alone SKU. I suppose they could always do an exclusive chrome version for SDCC next year.

The only one I have, Biker Scout, is definitely 18″.
