As much as I would like to have a 6″ Emperor’s Wrath Vader, after the epic fail of the 6″ Vader with holes cut in the shoulder’s for cape stitches and the deformed helmet, I don’t have high hopes for the variant.

I was excited to see this at first, but upon closer examination it doesn’t feel different enough to warrant a second Vader purchase. It needs something more to differentiate it from the regular release Vader. OK, so the hand comes off. How about packaging it that way to show this additional feature? IMHO the translucent cast head doesn’t go with the rest of the body. If feels like it needs some additional paint apps to depict the electricity surging throughout his body. Or maybe some separate attachable force lightning pieces? If this came packed with both this head and an additional regular version head, it would be a no-brainer purchase for me. As it is, I think I’ll track down the regular version.

So does this mean Walgreens is not doing an exclusive ROTJ Emperor with force lightning as many were speculating? I was going to return my unopened regular 6″ Emperor and buy the exclusive instead, but I guess maybe I should hang onto it.

I honestly love black series have them all 6″ that is, but this is crap and lazy ah well I’ll still get it and reserve full judgement until its in hand.
