In reply to LXMETAL. It could be because the Pop Vinyl has no moving parts that are vac metalized. It may also have to do with cost, as this is a exclusive limited release item, while the general release bobble head Phasma is silver toned, not chromed.

If they have found a way to Vacuum Metalize a flexible vinyl surface, there is absolutely no reason why we can’t have the same with action figures.

So are these Funko Pops going to be cool 10 years from now or will they be like Beanie Babies and in Free Bins all over garage sales?
