Yes, $60 is a lot of money for a Hero Series figure, but not discriminatory. No more than any other custom item costing considerably more than its commodity item counterpart. This is after all a discretionary item not a necessity. I’m not rich, not even middle class and I have $60 in my bank account. I would love to drive a Ferrari, but unfortunately I am discriminated against because I work for a living and am not rich. I’m forced to drive a… gasp… Dodge!

It looks to me that the prices on this sort of merchandise is coming down. Weren’t the custom-face figures that Disney Parks were doing over a $100?

For the record, I’m shocked by this report, but think it is fantastic that through a partnership with Target, this technology can be made available to the masses.

I agree, for a “Hero Series” body, and only the face plate being customized, this should have been around 39.99 at most.

The face rendering looks a bit creepy like the Uncanny Valley.
