Woah, they put in a freakin’ fully articulated Qui-Gon in amidst of all the other 5 POA figures? That doesn’t make a difference to the price of these sets? Were Hasbro lying to us this whole time about saving costs? Why am I even still alive?

More power to anybody who wants these and collects the packaging, but no thanks. These figures were already available earlier this year in other multipack sets that were never officially announced, and many of those are still shelfwarming. It would have been nice if newer 5-POA figures had been included to make them more attractive.

If people hate these, but buy them anyway, they only have themselves to blame. In my world people buy things because they like it/want it, not because of some obsession that they must own everything with the words Star Wars on it. Believe it or not there are actually kids and parents who still buy Star Wars figures. And yes, even some adult fans/collectors that enjoy the 5POA figures.

Personally, although I liked the packaging, I didn’t need these sets. I only ordered 1 online (for Biker Scout/Wicket) since I had all the remaining figures already from single SL or MS releases.

Still, I didn’t personally get the impression that the Digital Commemorative sets did all that well, so I am rather surprised that they are getting them back out there in different packaging. But you know what? A new Star Wars movie is coming out shortly, there has been huge buzz and figures are flying off shelves. Rather than think of this as a collector-aimed set, think of it as Christmas present fodder for the kids. A way for mom & dad to get little Johny all the classic characters to complement his TFA figures.

Absolutely disgusting. And they justify it because the digital sets sold through. When will people learn the only way Hasbro will change their ways is if we with hold our hard earned dollars from their pockets.

Wow!!! Look at all of that crap in a box!!
Which reminds me, last black Friday, a company literally put cow pies in a box and sold them on black Friday, just to see if anyone would buy them. People did. In fact, they completely sold out them.
The company donated all of the profits from the sale to charity.
Looks like Hasbro is taking a page from that companies play book. 😉
